Brainfish raises $2.5M seed led by Peak XV's Surge for instant customer support

May 7, 2024

Tired of customer support chatbots that barely help? Brainfish gets that. This Australia-founded startup just raised a $2.5M seed to make customer support a breeze.

  • Since they entered the market in 2023, they’ve seen a 65% increase in MoM growth.
  • They’ve served over 300,000 users globally, including ASX-listed companies.

Investor check. Peak XV Partners’ Surge led the round. Macdoch Ventures, Black Sheep Capital, Justus Hammer (CEO, MadPaws) and several angel investors also joined in.

  • This is their second round of funding—they’ve raised a total of $3.3M in funding.

No more headaches

We’ve been stuck on automated chatbot workflows too many times—only to end up having to wait for a human agent to help.

That’s why Brainfish uses AI tech to learn your company’s content. Then, it’ll deliver accurate, personalized answers to your customers in seconds. Serve customers more efficiently and quickly than ever!

  • How? It studies your company’s complex knowledge documents with their AI search tech and uses a contextual understanding of the user to come up with answers.

Self-service. They claim to reduce the need for customers to submit tickets and interact with a human agent by up to 80%, saving companies hours of time and $$$ spent on hiring agents.

Real-time translation. Selling an amazing product to the world? Offer amazing service globally too—offer customers answers in their native language.

Understand your customers even better. Get real-time insights based on client concerns for your customer support team.

🌏 What’s next?

They’ll double down on leveling up their product and accelerate international expansion, with a focus on the US.

  • They’ll expand to certain markets in SEA too!
