Struggling to get that cash? Startup founders know this anxiety all too well. Apart from venture capitalists, private equity firms, and joint ventures—who else can you raise from if you don’t have a huge network?

  • CrossFund uses data to match you with angels depending on your sector, stage, expertise, and other factors.
  • They also allow investors to own equity in global startups for as little as $5K.

💎 Diamonds in the rough

Some of their portfolio companies include:

  • 🇻🇳 Vulcan ARM. Vietnamese startup that builds modular robotic prosthetic arms for amputees.
  • 🇦🇺 Hello Clever. A platform that lets you earn shopback and discounts the more you spend. They raised a $4.5M seed last year.

They’ve got an exit! Specifically, Hong Kong’s Edugo.ai, a generative AI tool that teachers can use to create and personalize gamified learning courses. They were acquired by NASDAQ-listed company, Docebo.

🎢 What’s with the $$$?

They’ll expand to Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, where 40% of their investors are based.
