Here’s Good Doctor Technology (GDT)! This B2B2C healthcare platform partners with insurance companies and healthcare providers to serve corporate clients and individual patients. And they’ve just raised a $10M Series A!

Launched in 2018, GDT has around 15M users and has over 100 healthcare partners.

  • They’re currently active across Indonesia, Singapore, and Thailand.

Investor check. Telkom Indonesia’s MDI Ventures led the round, while Grab also participated.

  • Extra Scoop: GDT is a joint venture between Ping An Healthcare and Technology, Grab, and Softbank.

🥼 Need a good doctor?

You can find one with GDT! Here, you can consult online with their doctors as well as book offline tests and doctor appointments with their hospital partners.

  • Need medicine? You can get that from GoodMall, where you can buy medicine from licensed pharmacies.
  • They’re also the official partner of Grab in rolling out GrabHealth.

Hello, corporate. Business owners, GDT offers a holistic healthcare plan for your employees or insurance policyholders.

🔮 What the future holds?

They’ll use the $$$ to improve their tech platform, develop new products and services, and fund company operations.

  • New partnerships, here we come! They’ll explore new partnerships with insurance companies, corporate clients, and public institutions (like Indonesia’s BPJS Kesehatan) to serve the local population.
