Access your full potential. Here’s GridCARE, a startup that enables AI data centers to access reliable and scalable source of electric power.

  • Now, they just raised a $13.5M seed.
  • Oh, and they just recently came out of stealth.

Investor check. The firm’s investors include Temasek’s Xora, Aina Climate AI Ventures, Sherpalo Ventures, Breakthrough Energy Discovery, Overture Ventures, WovenEarth, Acclimate Ventures, Clearvision, and Clocktower Ventures.

  • Prominent AI and energy operators invested as well, including Tom Steyer, Ram Shriram, Gokul Rajaram, Felix Zhang, Balaji Prabhakar, and Tarun Raisoni.

🪫 The ABCs of GridCARE

AI is scaling rapidly all over the world. But the problem? AI data centers have too much demand for power and current grid systems are struggling to keep up.

GridCARE works with AI infrastructure developers to speed up time-to-power infrastructure development. Using generative AI, they uncover untapped grid capacity.

  • Why this matters. They find untapped power in existing sites, so there’s no need to wait for years to build a new power infrastructure.
  • They claim to reduce data centers’ time-to-power from 5 to 7 years to just 6 to 12 months! This allows AI companies to deploy GPUs and CPUs faster.

😜 Partnered up

GridCARE is partnered up with utilities like Portland General Electric and Pacific Gas & Electric who want to better utilize their grid assets to increase revenue.
