Amplify your energy with Amplicity. This Singapore-based platform helps industrial sites across APAC make the most out of their backup batteries. Now, they’ve just raised a $1M seed.

Investor check. The round was led by a group of angel investors, while global energy company ENGIE also joined in.

🔋Keep the lights on

Most industrial facilities and data centers have battery systems that sit idle, serving as backups in the event of a blackout.

  • Amplicity sees this infrastructure as more than backup systems—they’re untapped energy potential.

⚡ Where they come in

Amplicity builds a software control layer that enables these existing battery systems to operate as a dual engine.

  • Their tech enables these existing battery systems to cut electricity costs through peak management and earn $$$ by joining in energy markets without compromising backup readiness.
  • Oh, and their system operates within site-approved guardrails to ensure that there’s zero disruption to operations.

Why that matters. Their tech can help companies address rising energy costs, grid volatility, and Scope 2 emissions.

💡 What’s next?

They’ll use the fresh capital to deploy their first commercial projects in Singapore while accelerating momentum in Australia.
