Order’s up! Rolo Robotics is a Singapore-founded startup that deploys fully autonomous hot food kiosks.

Now, they’ve just raised a $3.45M seed!

Investor check. BEENEXT led the round, while A2D Ventures, Seedstars, TIS Japan, Antler, SUTD Ventures, Lotus One Investment and Blueprint Ventures joined in, alongside strategic angels.

🤖 Hot food coming

Rolo has developed a full-stack food robotics system designed to operate independently. 

• Their robot systems can prepare hot, made-to-order meals without any on-site staff. 
• And yep, their meals customizable to the customer’s sauce, seasoning, and crispiness preference.

How? Their system is pretty complex. 

They’ve got multi-nozzle dispensers, real-time heat control, crispiness sensors, and a four-stage air filtration system managed via remote software. 

• Oh, and kiosks are fully integrated with food delivery apps too!

The kiosks can be white-labelled to help restaurant brands expand into offices, campuses, and other remote areas. 

• They’ve already secured pilots with food operators, universities, hospitals, transport hubs, and pilot sites in Australia. They’ll be having their first Australia rollout next year!

Rolo is targeting 20 to 30 autonomous micro-kitchens in Singapore by 2026. 

• The fresh $$$ will be used to scale production, deepen their tech stack, and expand the engineering and operations team to accelerate deployments to other APAC markets.
