So you wanna build a metaverse? Thai media giant T&B Media Global is set to raise over $300M. What for? The metaverse.

  • It's partnering with Sygnum to help make the fundraise possible since it's raising through a mix of equity and NFTs.

🌏 A whole new world

T&B's subsidiary, Translucia will be building the Translucia ecosystem (it's basically a virtual universe built up of multiple interconnected metaverses).

  • These interconnected metaverses will share infrastructure, utilities, technology, hardware and software.

The goal? Be a truly immersive experience that connects both physical and virtual worlds.

⚙️ How it works

Companies partner with Translucia to build their own metaverses within the Translucia ecosystem.

  • Their first partner is MQDC, a leading Thai real estate developer.
  • MQDC will develop a virtual city that connects digital buildings (in the metaverse) with its real-world property project and experiences.

It's a win-win. Translucia brings business and society together — for the better. It allows partners to earn more $$$ through new revenue streams through the metaverse experience. At the same time, it allows users to participate in metaverse activities that promote happiness, wellness and prosperity.

❓ But how will they get it done?

Yes, building interconnected metaverses are as complicated as you think. Translucia has partnered with several companies to get these elements done right:

  • Assets. Building 3D assets and environments for the metaverse.
  • Financials and web3. The financial structure and tokenomics in the ecosystem, along with GameFi, DeFi and other web3 projects.
  • Visuals. Visual design for landscapes, avatars, architecture and environments.
  • Infrastructure. Developing the tech and blockchain infrastructure.
  • Story. The story and concept design for the metaverses.
  • Experience. The interactiveness and overall experience, including the ability to connect the digital and physical worlds.
