The good (food) life. Here's Glife! This agritech just raised an additional $3M for their Series A1 round. For what? To make the future of the food industry fairer, safer, more efficient and less wasteful.

  • They raised $8M in 2021 for their initial Series A and brought on new investor Tin Men Capital in this new round.
  • They serve over 1,000 farmers and over 2,500 customers in Southeast Asia.

The specifics. Their platform brings the entire food value chain into one place — farmers, merchants, kitchens and more. And, of course, they're using tech and data to level up everything along the way!

😉 How they make it happen

One-stop marketplace. They have over 1,000 products at the best prices, including fresh produce, drinks, and snacks, from their network of partners.

  • Easily make the payment to just one source and then get it delivered!

Consolidation. They consolidate orders from multiple restaurants and source in bulk directly from farmers.

  • This allows for higher food standards, lower costs and less contamination and mishandling. Oh, and it helps ensure demand for farmers, so they can plant confidently and earn more.

Apps and software. They're all about simplifying their processes, optimizing operations and reducing human error with tech.

  • They've got an ordering app that integrates messaging platforms and compiles purchase data, as well as transport systems to maximize truckloads and provide real-time delivery updates!

Systems to reduce food spoilage and waste. They have full cold chain facilities and ensure that items are processed, packed and delivered in exact quantities.

Data goldmine. Farms get data and reports to help them forecast and maximize resources.

💰 What's with the $$$?

They'll be launching their B2B digital marketplace to give restaurants more variety and more competitive prices. Plus, they're looking to expand within Indonesia and double down on their tech.
