Here’s Eratani! This Indonesian agritech enables smallholder farmers to access financing, high-quality inputs, and better market opportunities.

  • Now, they just raised a $6.2M Series A!

Investor check. Clay Capital led the round, while TNB Aura, SBI Ven Capital, AgFunder, Genting Ventures, and IIX joined in!

🌾 Rice to the top

Indonesia has a highly fragmented rice farming ecosystem, which means most smallholder farmers have trouble accessing resources to maximize their yields.

  • Eratani works with local banks and fintechs to grant working capital to smallholder farmers.
  • Oh, and they also provide agronomic advisory services.

🔢 Run the numbers

Launched in 2021, Eratani has worked with over 34K farmers across Java and Sulawesi.

  • Oh, and they’ve also improved cultivation across 13K hectares of rice farmland.

🧑‍💻 Future plans

They’ll use the $$$ to adopt more advanced technologies to boost productivity.

  • This includes precision agriculture tools, on-farm mechanization, and sustainable cultivation practices.
