December 16, 2022
Plugo

Made for you. D2C companies, you're gonna love Plugo! They're an all-in-one platform with all you need to start and grow your D2C e-commerce business. Oh, and they just raised a $9M Series A!

  • After being founded two months ago, they've already got around 200 Indonesian D2C brands in their closed beta.
  • The founder previously founded TokoTalk, a similar service that was later acquired by Sea Group but was shut down on Oct. 28.

Investor check. Altos Ventures led the round. BonAngels Ventures Partners, Access Ventures, Mahanusa Capital, Prodigy Investment, and Pearl Abyss Capital also joined in!

💁🏻‍♀️ Not "just another e-commerce website builder"

They're custom-built for D2C and are building powerful tools that go beyond helping you get started — they're here to help you manage it all and grow too!

  • Go local. While there are platforms like Shopify, they're not localized for SEA.
  • Forget using multiple websites and tools. Plugo's an end-to-end platform to help you manage your D2C's brand's needs.

😉 Baby, you're all I need

Online store in 3, 2, 1. Create a custom website and start selling in minutes. Oh, and it already comes with an order management system, logistics integrations to handle deliveries and a payment gateway to accept payments.

Marketing. Soon, you'll be able to launch and analyze paid ad campaigns on platforms like Facebook straight from Plugo. Oh, and they'll help with SEO too.

Customer support. They've got a built in chat feature that makes it easy to speak with customers anytime.

And way more. They even have tools to help you start customer loyalty programs, give discounts and create a link-in-bio page.

💰 What's with the $$$?

They'll be using the new $$$ to hire more engineers, level up their R&D team and develop their product.

2023 plans. They'll be releasing their platform to the public in early 2023. Oh, and they'll be focusing on Indonesia for the next 12 months.

  • Afterwards, they'll be expanding to the rest of SEA, like Malaysia, the Philippines, Vietnam and Thailand.
