Say hi to WhyQ! This startup helps MSMEs digitize and grow. Now, they've just raised an additional $1.08M for their Series A2 round. Find out about their foodie beginnings and what the future looks like!

  • They power over 20,000 MSMEs in Singapore and Malaysia with their tools.

Investor check. Kairos Capital Group led the round.

  • The initial Series A2 round in 2021 raised around $2.78M from investors like Delivery Hero, Chope and Angel Central.

They started out as a hawker food delivery service in 2017 (that still exists today) and is the largest MSME food delivery platform in Singapore.

  • They have 2,500 hawker stalls on their food delivery platform.
  • They also built tools for their F&B MSME partners.

This experience helped them cook up some new products to beyond just helping F&B MSMEs like hawkers — they're now building to supercharge all kinds of small business owners!

So, they've now launched additional tools to help MSMEs in Singapore and Malaysia succeed, like their free EBiz and Kira Kira apps!

They'll be leveling up their current products and developing new ones to help MSMEs compete in the digital economy.

  • Plans? Customizable templates for their online storefronts, integrations with Shopee and Lazada and adding more features to their bookkeeping app.
  • They'll also be partnering with more logistics providers, payment gateways and lending partners.
