Make some noise for BandLab Technologies!  Through their BandLab app, this Singapore-based company helps millions of people create music for free – with just their phone. And they just raised $25M in a Series B1 round.

  • They are the digital division of Caldecott Music Group.
  • The app currently has over 60 million registered users!

Investor check. Returning investor Cercano Management (aka Vulcan Capital) led the round. Prosus Ventures also joined in.

  • The new funding bumps their valuation to $425M.
  • The company last raised $65M in a Series B in 2022.

🥁Drop the beat

Their app lets anyone use professional music creation tools, launch their careers, connect with fans and distribtute music without losing $$$ from commissions and fees.

  • Sound like a pro. Access royalty-free music samples, mastering and splitter tools, a looping feature, and more.
  • Let people hear you! Launch and promote your own music on the platform. Your listeners can even give you tips.
  • Keep that cash. Creators can keep 100% of their earnings! You can't say the same for other music platforms.

Bandlab Technologies also owns a creator suite for professional musicians (CakeWalk), a musician services site (ReverbNation), and a beat marketplace (Airbit).

↗️What’s with the $$$?

They’ll use the fresh funding to grow the team and build new music tools.

  • A portion of the funding will also go to BandLab for Education.
