Make some noise for Beep! This Singapore-based IoT startup lets you charge your electric vehicle through their charge points, no matter which operator you use.

Investor check. GGV Capital and Wing Vasiksiri led the round. Meanwhile, NUS Technology Holdings, SUTD Venture Holdings, XA Network, and some angel investors joined!

  •  The amount raised is undisclosed.

🔋 100%

Along with the raise, they also announced the launch of an eRoaming network which they claim is SEA’s largest!

  • So far, their network, called VoltNet, has over 1,350 charge points and 11 operators.
  • Their clients? Hyundai Motor Group Innovation Center in Singapore, Tribecar, EVFY, and more!

⚙️ How it works

No matter which operator you use, Beep can charge you up!

How? Through their white-label website or API, which lets vehicle manufacturers, charging operators, and fleets onboard their software to their current interfaces.

  • Going on a road trip? Charge your vehicle through compatible ports scattered across Singapore!
  • Tap and go? With a VoltNow card, you can tap to pay at participating charging stations.

🤔 A little more detail

Oh, they also offer vending machines for the unattended retail and healthcare markets!

  • Retailers get a cost-efficient way to distribute their stock and manage sales unattended.
  • Hospitals can focus on providing essential healthcare services instead of physically distributing medical supplies.

🕜 What the future holds?

They’ll improve their technical connectivity and expand their eRoaming network to Malaysia, Thailand, and beyond!

  • Plus, they’ll continue to partner up with charge point operators, vehicle OEMs, and fleets.
