OMOWAY is OTW to Indonesia. This Chinese-founded mobility startup recently announced that they’ve completed their consecutive Series A and Series A+ rounds.

Investor check. Lochpine Capital led the Series A+ round, while Monolith led the Series A round, with CICC Capital and ZhenFund joining as participants.

  • Other investors include Hongshan, RocketsCapital, and Hui Capital.

Some more detail. The exact amount raised in the two rounds was not disclosed, but it is said that both rounds raised tens of millions of US dollars.

🏍️ The ABCs of OMOWAY

Founded in 2024, OMOWAY builds smart two-wheeled EVs.

Its first product is OMO-X, a self-balancing smart motorcycle with digital key access, an automatic side stand, and remote vehicle control.

  • The OMO-X vehicles are built on the OMO-ROBOT universal architecture and come in the OMO-X Smart and OMO-X Balance.
  • The system uses vision-based perception, high-speed computing, and physical stabilization technology to keep the vehicle balanced — so riders don’t have to!

🇮🇩 Hey, Indonesia

OMOWAY began delivering its OMO-X model to Indonesia earlier this June.

  • Why Indonesia? After China and India, Indonesia is actually the third-largest motorcycle market in the world.

Next stop? OMOWAY is planning to expand into Thailand, Singapore, and Europe next.
