1, 2, 3, let’s go! Cocoon Capital just announced the first close of this third fund, Cocoon Capital Fund III, securing $30M in commitments. 

• The fund will remain open to new commitments until it reaches its target of $50M.

LP check. Existing investors increased their commitments, while new LPs from Asia, Europe, and North America also joined in!

• The investors include institutional capital providers, founders, and family offices.

🔎 And the fund? 

They’ll target pre-seed and seed startups in B2B software and deep tech startups across SEA and look for potential startups in broader Asia and Australia. 

Cocoon plans to invest in 20 companies over the next four to five years. 

• Around 55% of the fund is reserved for follow-on investments up to Series A.
