Vietnamese edtech startup MindX just raised a $3M Series A, led by Wavemaker Partners. It's a coding school that teaches everyone, from kids coding for the first time to professionals looking for a new tech role.
⏪ Back to the source
Founded in 2015 as a non-profit where the founders taught part-time coding classes, MindX now has an online platform and 13 physical locations.
What's new? Unlike MindX, most coding schools focus on short-term courses (aka, bootcamps) for people to upskill and land a tech job right after.
👉 What's with the $$$?
For its short courses for students who plan to land a job after the course, MindX is looking to launch Income Share Agreements (ISAs), a popular payment option among coding bootcamps.
Apart from expanding to reach students outside the metro, it'll also be closing more foreign partner companies from Singapore, Japan and the US.
