Delivering an on-demand delivery fight

December 31, 2021
Borzo

Borzo, the global on-demand delivery startup for emerging countries, has just acquired Indian 90-minute delivery service NOW to deepen its Asia expansion.

  • Borzo is active in 10 countries globally, including the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Mexico and Russia.
  • It serves about 700,000 active users monthly and competes with Lalamove.

😉  New name, same game

You may know it as MrSpeedy, WeFast or Dostavista. The Netherlands-based startup recently rebranded all its global operations to Borzo after its $35M Series C in August.

  • It uses algorithms that factor routes, package contents, couriers and more to allow the most reliable same-day delivery.
  • 75% of Borzo's customers are SMEs.

⚙️  How it works

Predictable and low rates. Prices for other services change depending on the traffic, season and more. (It's a headache, especially for SMEs!)

  • For Borzo, pay a flat rate + a fixed amount per km + a fixed amount per drop-off.

API Integrations. Say goodbye to wasting time booking! Integrate Borzo with your website and automatically place deliveries, manage orders and get updates.

Business accounts. Get a dedicated rider and account manager just for you.

  • They'll get you better rates, manage your order fulfillment and even speak to your clients on your behalf.

Special services. Offer cash on delivery (and get your cash in 24 hours!), get compensation for damaged or lost items and more.

🏍  Next stop!

Borzo's looking to raise a $100M Series D in the first half of 2022. It's also going beyond SMEs, hoping to serve large clients as a major part of its business.
