Meet Aevice Health! Founded in 2016, this Singapore-based startup develops wearable devices for remote management of chronic respiratory diseases.

And they just raised an undisclosed amount of early-stage funding!

Investor check. East Ventures led the round.

🫁 A health crisis

In SEA, 48.5M people suffer from chronic respiratory diseases, and 4M die prematurely every year.

Respiratory diseases require regular medical attention, and are expensive to deal with!

  • More than $3K is spent on every Asthma patient in the US, yet 1300 deaths still occur daily. COPD, another leading respiratory disease, sees 72% underdiagnosed globally.

📅 24/7/365

Monitoring your loved ones’ health has never been easier! With Aevice Health’s devices, you can do it 24/7.

  • Plus, their devices are super convenient to use!

For adults — AeviceMD serves as a wearable stethoscope. Simply stick the circular device to your chest and monitor heart rate, respiratory rate, wheeze and cough detection in-real-time from your phone!

  • Get alerts when it senses early signs of illness
  • Share your data with a doctor with one click for a more customized treatment plan
  • The device is Singapore Health and Science Authority (HSA) and FDA-approved

For kids — Airsone Junior is a coin-sized wearable (10g) that tracks respiratory and heart rate. Oh, and it also provides insights into sleep quality and overall well-being!

  • All data is displayed on an easy-to-use app.
  • Get push notifications when concerning vitals are observed.

💼 They mean business

With the new $$$, Aevice is now closer to achieving its end goal for its devices to be as common as a thermometer!
