Eatin' it up: F&B startup OrderEz acquires FoodRazor

February 17, 2023

It's Singaporean food fusion. Oops, we mean a Singaporean startup acquisition! OrderEz just acquired fellow Singapore-based F&B startup FoodRazor. While the numbers are hush-hush, here's what you should know!

🤔 Who's the buyer?

It's OrderEz! They're an end-to-end solution to digitize and manage your supply chain and business. Say bye to all the admin work and say hello to higher revenue, way less stress and more good stuff!

  • According to Crunchbase, they previously raised a $500k SGD ($374k) seed in 2021.
  • Their customers? Outlets like bars and restaurants. Oh, and suppliers like breweries, coffee roasteries and wholesalers.

For F&B outlets, they have an all-in-one solution that allows you to manage your suppliers and orders (like ingredients and suppliers), track spending and minimize accounting work.

And they help suppliers too! For suppliers, their solution helps them manage their sales team, order fulfillment, data and reporting and accounting and inventory.

😱 And who got acquired?

It's FoodRazor! No, they're not some kitchen knife brand. They help F&B outlets manage invoices, costs, price hikes and orders from suppliers!

  • They last raised a $900k seed in 2021, led by Cocoon Capital.
  • They work with 250+ outlets. In 2021, they processed 1M invoices and saved $39.6M.
  • No more missing invoices, mistakes, manual accounting work, overordering (or overspending) and numbers that don't make sense at all.

And yes, it's clear that OrderEz and FoodRazor have a lot in common, so coming together will help OrderEz supercharge growth.

✈️ What's next

OrderEz has two big plans for the year: expanding to the US and raising a new funding round!
