Far East Capital bought preference shares in Singapore's Oatside

January 6, 2026

Who's craving oat milk? Investment firm Far East Capital, the family office of real estate developer Far East Organization, has bought preference shares in Oatside through a secondary sale in November last year.

  • They bought the shares from Mugi Capital, which has backed Oatside since 2021.

Some more detail. Mugi Capital also transferred its stake to existing Oatside stakeholders, divesting more than half of its shares in the oat milk manufacturer.

🥛 And the value?

With Oatside valued at $705M, Far East Capital's stake can be worth $4.57M.

  • This is assuming that their share price is $240 (as per DealStreetAsia's August 2025 calculation).

😋 Oat so good

Besides plain oat milk, Oatside also has chocolate milk and an oat latte product.

The business rides on the growing demand for alternative milk products for health and dietary benefits.

  • They raised $35M in a Series B round in 2024.
