Welcome a new generation with Generation Prime! No, really. This Singapore-based startup makes IVF and other fertility treatments more accessible to Asia. And they just raised a seed round!

  • Launched in 2019, they recently opened their first two clinics in Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur.

Investor check. Recharge Capital led the round, while Thiel Capital, Shamrock Holdings, and Blue Lion Global joined in!

👶Never past your prime

Generation Prime offers personalized fertility solutions so families in different age and health situations get their best chances of starting a family.

  • You’ve got options. They offer IVF and IUI treatments, as well as surrogate pregnancies. Oh, and they also have egg and sperm banks in-house.
  • Don’t wait ‘til it’s late. Have other priorities in mind but still want a family in the future? They freeze eggs, sperm, and ovarian tissues! The last one freezes the egg-producing tissues in the ovary so cancer patients can still get pregnant post-op.
  • That’s not all! They test embryos to make sure they are healthy before implantation, and find out the best times to implant.

Who is it for? A lot more people can benefit from fertility treatments than you think! Couples can undergo IVF to prevent genetic diseases from being inherited by the next generation.

🍼 What’s with the $$$?

They plan to open 15 clinics in Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore in the next three years.

  • The startup said that they expect about 70% of their clients to be medical tourists from China, who have have limited access to IVF procedures.
