Omio’s multimodal travel booking platform attracts travelers who want a more flexible and unique travel experience.

  • They offer transport options across 48 countries and serve more than 1B users annually.
  • With their app, users can easily find and compare ticket prices, as well as get real-time updates on journeys.

Some more detail. They launched earlier this year in Japan, and have been seeing demand from international travelers who book journeys along the Golden Route and to remote destinations.

🚋 Where Omio is headed

The fresh funding will be used to deepen Omio’s transport network across Japan and SEA, strengthen local partnerships, and refine their offerings.

  • They will also grow their regional teams in Japan, as well as their AI-focused technology hub in Singapore.

Growth ahead. They plan to expand into more than 70 markets worldwide by 2028, with Japan and SEA as key markets!
