Getting Vietnam's youth to invest in Vietnam starting with $0.04

September 7, 2022
Tititada

Here's Tititada! This Vietnam-based investment app makes it possible to invest in local public companies for just 10,000 VND (~$0.4). Oh, and they just raised a $1.5M pre-seed led by Golden Gate Ventures.

  • It's the largest pre-seed for a Vietnamese fintech.

😉 Here's the plan

Tititada wants young Vietnamese to start investing now, so they can achieve long-term financial security. And they're leaving them no excuse!

  • Anyone can (and should) invest since you can start with as low as $0.4.
  • The idea? Accumulate investments in small amounts, and they'll eventually grow big.

😏 What they're doing differently

More than just affordable. We all know offering fractional shares makes it possible for anyone to invest.

Their twist is that you'll be able to invest in locally listed Vietnamese companies — allowing you to invest in companies you know, invest in Vietnam and make $$$ returns from the growth of your local economy. How's that for nationalism?

👀 Zooming out

There's a major boom in retail investing among the Vietnamese youth — and the number of Vietnamese investment apps shows it.

  • Finhay, Anfin and Infina are other Vietnamese investment apps we've covered on BackScoop.

A few of them offer fractional trading as one of their products, and there are other fractional trading apps like GoTrade that allow foreigners to invest in US-listed companies.
