Go from add to cart to checkout in seconds

April 27, 2022
Arrow

An arrow through your heart? Nope! Singapore's Arrow is headed straight for your shopping cart. They get you from there to "checkout completed" in seconds. Oh, and they just raised a $4.8M seed led by Sequoia Capital India.

  • They're used by 100 merchants and support 50+ payment methods, from cards and banks to e-wallets and BNPL.

Who else cashed in? Alpha JWC and Guillaume Pousaz (CEO, Checkout.com)'s Zinal Growth joined in.

🏹  All about Arrow

You can forget having to type in your card details, password, addresses and more for every buy! They're a one-click checkout startup that makes the entire process hassle-free.

Slide into the DMs. SEA's all about social commerce. Sick of always typing messages with your details over on FB, Whatsapp or IG?

  • With Arrow, the store can send you a checkout link, and you can pay in a flash.

🛒  Abandonment issues

We mean cart abandonment. Stores need to make $$$, and they always wonder why people fill their carts and don't checkout. (Shoutout to the items in our carts right now...)

The problem? SEA is diverse, and everyone has their e-commerce habits and nuances. The reasons could be too many checkout pages, bad WiFi or payment methods that take too many steps.

  • The longer the checkout process, the more chances a customer has to leave. (Or, because they realize it's an impulse buy they don't need.)

Arrow's great for stores because they get people to check out and spend more. Oh, and it's easy to use too! Just integrate with their API or plugins or use their payment links.

🌏  International, baby!

They're doubling down on their existing markets (aka, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia) but plan to head to the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam soon.
