ππΌ How would you explain your job to someone outside tech?
Managing high-level direction and people to ensure we hit our goals.
β
π§ What's something about you or your job that would surprise us?
I still go down on the ground and talk to customers. It can get pretty daunting but it's the best learning ground for me and the company.
β
π What has been the biggest highlight of your career so far?
We recently launched Digital Niaga, a $240M fund supported by financial institutions to help micro SMEs purchase inventories on our platform!
β
π What's a startup trend or space you're watching this year?β
AI for obvious reasons, but I like back-office stuff (e.g., accounting, HR, etc.)! I noticed those are the spaces most people don't realize clients (whether businesses or consumers) would pay a significant amount because they generally don't enjoy doing it.
β
πΌ What advice would you give someone starting out in your industry?Β
Never stop talking to your customers.Β
β
π£ What's one thing you can keep talking about for hours?Β
Fast-moving consumer goods! It's the core industry for Dropee and my family has been involved in this since the 90s.
β
π₯ What's your favorite movie/TV show?Β
Currently, I am watching Fresh off the Boat, it's hilarious!
β
π¨ What's your go-to ice cream flavor?β
Dark choco or mocha.
