👋🏼  How would you explain your job to someone outside tech?

My role is full of excitement, and I've discovered a lot of opportunities that unlocked my awareness of the community around me.

🧐  What's something about you or your job that would surprise us?

I've discovered a lot of improvements and customer insights that you wouldn't believe!

🏆  What has been the biggest highlight of your career so far?

When I joined MetroMart, I encountered a lot of obstacles building the operations side and creating an ecosystem that didn't just serve the customers (who order through the app) but also the riders and shoppers that serve the customers. To top it all off, that all happened while the pandemic hit the Philippines in early 2020!

🔍  What's a startup trend or space you're watching this year?

I'm watching how brick-and-mortar companies are involved in digitalization and how this will evolve into another line of service that will help better the community.

💼  What advice would you give someone starting out in your industry?

Have a "never-give-up" attitude and a "care-for-the-community" mindset.

🗣  What's one thing you can keep talking about for hours?

People Management (the team) and Customer Experience! You can think of them as the "internal" and "external" customers.
