Jirayut ‘Topp’ Srupsrisopa is the Founder and Group CEO of Bitkub Capital Group Holdings, a Thailand-based blockchain technology and digital assets company. 

Earlier this year, BitKub raised $17.8M from Thai game publisher Asphere Innovations.

👋🏼 How would you explain your job to someone outside tech?

Blockchain and digital assets involve working with a highly secure and transparent technology that enables greater trust through decentralization. 

Decentralization in blockchain refers to the idea that the decision-making power of a network is distributed among its users rather than controlled by a single entity. 

Taking roles in this industry means being at the forefront of innovation, where you can contribute to shaping the future of finance, supply chain, healthcare, and more.

🧐 What's something about you or your job that would surprise us?

I’m very proud to be running such a large and successful company, but it does take up all my time. 

Being a CEO doesn't sound as fun as it should be, but I’m glad I get to do what I'm passionate about.

🏆 What has been the biggest highlight of your career so far?

Bitkub’s ongoing contributions to the transformation and modernization of both Thailand and the broader ASEAN region. 

We have been promoting Thailand's digital economy through international collaboration to accelerate new digital models that create sustainable and resilient digital asset industries. It’s a true honor to push for innovation in Thailand's financial system and represent our country on global stages. 

I recently participated as one of the panelists at the ASEAN Future Generation Business Forum and received the Youngest Leader in Blockchain Technology and Digital Assets award.

🔍 What's a startup trend or space you're watching this year?‍

The emergence of decentralized internet Web3 will disrupt traditional paradigms, enable secure and transparent transactions, and empower customers to reclaim control over their data and digital identities.

💼 What advice would you give someone starting out in your industry? 

The blockchain industry is dynamic and rapidly evolving. Consequence management is critical. 

‍

Do thorough research, stay up to date with the industry’s developments, and always learn new marketable skills. Cultivate a large network of support that could lend assistance if things go sideways.

🗣 What's one thing you can keep talking about for hours? 

I guess you’ve already had that figured out! Blockchain, fintech, digital disruption, ESG, and the likes. These are my most common topics on stage.
