Raphael Cohen is the co-founder of Deskimo, a Singapore-based startup that gives on-demand access to office space in Southeast Asia and the Middle East.
They also provide a SaaS platform for hybrid workplace management. Deskimo was incubated in Y Combinator in 2021.
👋🏼 How would you explain your job to someone outside tech?
We provide on-demand access to hot desks, meeting rooms, and private offices at hundreds of professionally managed workspaces in Southeast Asia and the Middle East.
🧐 What's something about you or your job that would surprise us?
I love traveling and have visited 97 countries as of now, around half of the world.
🏆 What has been the biggest highlight of your career so far?
Probably launching and managing Foodpanda in Vietnam back in 2012 when I was just 23 years old and fresh out of university.
🔍 What's a startup trend or space you're watching this year?
I believe that hybrid work is here to stay and I am always excited to see new startups building products to solve challenges around hybrid work.
