Rio Hoe is the co-founder of Ease, a women's health digital health platform that makes healthcare more accessible and affordable for over 100,000 women in Singapore and beyond.
The Ease platform provides a range of telemedicine services like contraception, fertility and weight management, and menopause, for women of all ages. They received $1.3M in seed funding from Insignia Ventures Partners back in 2021.

I help improve access to healthcare via technology.
🧐 What's something about you or your job that would surprise us?
I was a corporate lawyer practicing in London and Singapore before my career switched to becoming an entrepreneur.
🏆 What has been the biggest highlight of your career so far?
Launching the Ease app, which centralized the entire healthcare ecosystem we have built into a single place.
🔍 What's a startup trend or space you're watching this year?
The growth of domain-level intelligence in AI will completely transform specific industries in the way they operate.
💼 What advice would you give someone starting out in your industry?
In terms of getting into entrepreneurship, do something and surround yourself with people you love, such that even though you're hustling hard every single day, it feels like you never work a day in your life.
