👋🏼 How would you explain your job to someone outside tech?
We invest in fast-growing fintech startups that enhance the way money is moved and earned, and connect the dots with our community initiatives in the finance and tech industry.
🧐 What's something about you or your job that would surprise us?
I did not major in finance in school and had to learn everything at work.
🏆 What has been the biggest highlight of your career so far?
Barely getting started, but leading a sizeable S$5m venture debt round recently, as our first venture debt deal, and helping the company get access to strategic working capital to scale faster, was very fulfilling.
🔍 What's a startup trend or space you're watching this year?
Anything in embedded finance or powering the gig economy.
💼 What advice would you give someone starting out in your industry?
Stay curious. The industry moves so fast that we have to keep reading and learning every day.
🗣 What's one thing you can keep talking about for hours?
When my friends and I whom I co-founded an angel network with hang out over drinks, we just talk about deals and more deals. It gets boring to anyone not in the group.

For something stimulating, Shark Tank, and for pure entertainment, Only Murders in the Building.
