Wendy is the co-founder of Proglix, a B2B commerce in industrial goods. Proglix raised their seed funding in August 2022. Before Proglix, Wendy built a smoothies company called Joomba.

👋🏼 How would you explain your job to someone outside tech?

I'm simplifying raw material procurement for small and medium manufacturers of industrial goods.

🧐 What's something about you or your job that would surprise us?

I have only had smoothies and coffee for breakfast since I was 17. Whenever I travel, I bring a small blender to make my smoothies!

🏆 What has been the biggest highlight of your career so far?

My brother, Wynn, and I have been building Proglix for the past 8 months. We've had tremendous growth, and we are the only startup from Indonesia accepted by YC in Winter 2023. It's another milestone in my career, indeed.

ChatGPT is definitely one of the hottest trends this year. I've tried asking several different topics, and the answers were quite clear and precise. What a surprise!

💼 What advice would you give someone starting out in your industry? 

Fighting spirit, integrity, and discipline are way more important than brilliant ideas.
