Tempted by tempeh?  Mamame Whole Foods is a family-owned business in Indonesia that sells a line of tempeh chips. Now, they’ve raised $2M!

Investor check. Granite Asia led the round.

🫘 More Mamame

In case you didn’t know, tempeh is a traditional Indonesian food made out of fermented soybeans. It’s popular among vegans and vegetarians for being a rich source of protein.

  • Instead of traditional soybeans, Mamame’s version is made with black-eyed peas, making their product soy-free, gluten-free, fiber-rich, and halal.
  • Their flavors include Original, Sea Salt, Hot Chili, Rosemary, Cheese, and Barbecue.

Versatile and yum. You can eat their tempeh chips as is, or dip them in sauce or eat them with your favorite charcuterie!

👉🏽 What’s next?

They’ll be launching more flavors this year.

Tempeh for everyone. The product is currently available in Singapore, Thailand, Korea, Germany, Lithuania, Portugal, Hungary, the UK, and North America.
