Mober raises $6M to grow EV an logistics fleet for the Philippines

Mobe(r) over. Meet Mober, a Philippine EV startup that just raised $6M!

  • Clients include IKEA, Kuehne+Nagel, Nespresso, Monde Nissin, Nestle, Maersk, and SM Appliance Center.

Investor check. They were raised from Clime Capital’s South East Asia Clean Energy Facility II (SEACEF II).

  • It was a mix of equity and convertible notes.
  • They last raised $2M earlier this year,

🚛 Beep beep

They’re an entirely electric EV logistics delivery fleet! They’ve got a comprehensive network that offers last-mile deliveries for big and bulky packages like electronics or furniture.

  • Their Transport Management System optimizes delivery routes while also tracking C02 savings.
  • Mober’s proprietary app and API lets companies manage and send products as well as control orders and returns. And for customers? You’ll get notifications on the status of your delivery.

Batter(y) up! They’re developing a Battery Management System (BMS) to level up the efficiency and lifespan of their EVs.

🔋 Planning for the long haul

They’ll be using the $$$ to buy more EVs (the goal is 238 units!) and develop new charging stations by 2025.

  • They’ll develop a 3,000 sqm charging yard in Pasay City.
  • They’ll also establish a network of charging points across Luzon, Philippines.
