The problem? Most breathable and waterproof clothing items today have PFAS or per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances in them, which has been linked to serious health concerns.

• PFAS is a synthetic chemical found in rain jackets, activewear, and medical gowns. But it’s also used in food packaging and non-stick cookware to provide water and stain resistance.

They built a proprietary electrospinning or nanospinning technology and formula that produce PFAS-free membranes designed to blend seamlessly into the textile.
