New $$$ incoming. Singapore’s Openspace Capital announced their investments in Indonesian eyewear brand SATURDAYS and Malaysia-based car care platform ServAuto

About Openspace. Openspace Capital is a multi-strategy asset manager focused on SEA.

  • They invest in tech-native and tech-enabled businesses across multiple stages.

👓 Glasses, anyone?

Indonesian D2C lifestyle eyewear brand SATURDAYS was reported to have raised $6.3M earlier this January from Openspace, DSG Consumer Partners, and Altara Ventures.

  • SATURDAYS designs high-quality frames in-house and sells them at affordable prices.
  • The brand offers an omnichannel experience through its app, home try-on service, and physical stores, where customers can enjoy drinks and snacks.

The wow factor. According to Openspace, the brand has several expansion opportunities within and beyond Indonesia. They also observed clear repeat-purchase behaviour.

🚗 Here to serve you

Malaysia-based ServAuto also raised an undisclosed amount of funding earlier this month.

Vynn Capital led the round, with Jelawang Capital, Openspace, SWC Global, Gobi Partners, and strategic angel investors also participating.

  • ServAuto connects users to authorized workshops with transparent pricing and high-quality service.
  • The platform solves Malaysia’s fragmented automotive aftersales market by bringing greater transparency and consistent service to consumers.
