PixVerse completes Series C extension with $439M

Let’s roll! Singapore-based AI video generation startup Pixverse just closed their Series C extension round with a total of $439M. This bumps up their valuation to over $2B!

  • They closed their initial Series C earlier this March. 

Investor check. Investors in the extension round include Alibaba, Lollapalooza Capital, Ivy Capital, Grand Mount Capital, Eastern Bell Capital, Mirae Asset, BlueFocus, CloudAlpha, iGlobe Partners, and Lion X Ventures.

Founded in 2023, PixVerse offers multiple models for different use cases. 

  • V-Series. For general text-to-video or image-to-video workflows
  • C-Series. For cinematic videos with action, visual effects, and multi-short storytelling  
  • R-Series (world model). For interactive games or live environments

Run the numbers! PixVerse says that their consumer product has over 150M registered users and 15M monthly active users. 

🌳 Next plans

PixVerse is set to launch a new V-Series model and release a new version of their world model by the end of the year. 

They’re also actively trying to expand their global enterprise outreach. They already have a deal with Alibaba to deploy video-generation features!

  • They’ll use the $$$ to hire more researchers and grow their team in the go-to-market cluster.
