PolicyStreet raises $21M in first Series C close

What’s cooking? Malaysia-based insurtech PolicyStreet provides digital insurance solutions to businesses and consumers across SEA. 

  • Now, they’ve just raised $21M in the first close of their Series C round. 

Investor check. Cool Japan Fund, Japan’s sovereign wealth fund, led the round. (Malaysia’s sovereign wealth fund, Khazanah Nasional, also backed the insurtech in 2023.)

  • Meanwhile, existing investors Altara Ventures and Gobi Partners, along with other investors, also joined.

PolicyStreet provides employee benefits and group insurance solutions, insurance aggregation services, and digital infrastructure that simplifies insurance. 

  • They partner with over 40 insurance and takaful providers globally.

🧮 Run the numbers

The funding follows the company’s report that they’ve reached more than $1M in profit in 2025. 

  • Oh, and since their previous funding round, they’ve reportedly doubled the number of customers they serve, from 5M to more than 10M.
  • They’ve also had more than $10B in sum insured.

💸 What’s next? 

They’ll use the $$$ to support regional expansion, boost technology infrastructure, and strengthen partnerships across Asia.
