Qapita raises $26.5M Series B round

They’ve got the Qapital. Singapore-headquartered Qapita helps private companies manage cap tables, employee stock options, and more.

Now, they just raised a $26.5M Series B!

Investor check. US-based Charles Schwab led the round, taking a strategic minority stake. Citi and MassMutual Ventures, both existing investors, also joined in. 

📝 New plans

As part of the deal, Charles Schwab and Qapita have collaborated to release a new platform called the Schwab Private Issuer Equity Services. 

  • The platform, powered by Qapita, will enable US-based startups to automate their cap table processes and produce reports. 
  • Oh, and the platform will also tie into Schwab's wealth management network.

Launched in 2021, Qapita offers a full-stack digital platform helps firms digitize and manage their cap table processes and stock management plans.

  • They also offer an independent, audit-ready valuation service.

Their footprint. Qapita currently has around 2.7K using their platform, where a majority of their users are from India (70%) and SEA (20%).

Qapita will use the funds to fuel their expansion into the US market and facilitate the launch of a fund administration product across different markets. 

  • More on their footprint. Qapita has offices in Singapore, India, and Indonesia. With the funding, they now also have a US office.
