Selex Motors

EVs for B2B. Make way, Vietnam's Selex Motors just raised a $3M convertible note!

  • Founded in 2018, they're speeding up the transition to green transportation, starting with last-mile logistics in Vietnam.

Investor check. ADB Ventures, Schneider Electric Energy Access Asia, Touchstone Partners and Sopoong Ventures joined in!

🤔 Why it matters

Designing the optimal EV-powered system for last-mile logistics isn't just great for the environment — it'll help lower operations costs too.

  • Selex designed one from scratch and already holds ten patents, five designs and four trademarks from their in-house R&D facility.

The difference? EVs and battery solutions for commercial applications (think Grab deliveries) require longer-lasting EVs and easy access to fast-charging batteries.

⚡️ What they do

Made just for you. They design and manufacture their own two-wheeler EVs.

  • Their model has 50% better load capacity than alternatives and lowers maintenance and fuel costs by over 30%, slashing costs for company fleets and increasing driver income!

Low battery? They have battery-swapping solutions that let riders charge up with enough for another 150km — in as fast as 2 minutes.

🔜 What's next?

They'll be expanding their production lines and pushing EV sales. Plus, they'll be setting up more battery-swapping systems in Vietnam and looking at regional expansion!

  • They want to be the nation's first and largest shared battery-swapping network provider.
