Hello, net zero! Singapore’s Seraya Partners, an Asia-focused private equity firm, just completed the close of its first fund at $800M. It surpassed their initial $750M target.
They target the digital infrastructure and energy transition sectors within APAC and SEA.
LP check. Their fund has commitments from global institutional investors, including Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, Alberta Investment Management Company, and funds and accounts managed by Blackrock.

Here’s more information on the three platforms the infrastructure-focused fund invested in:
Empyrion DC (Singapore). This firm develops and operates data centers in key Asian cities and claims to use renewable energy to power its data centers.
Cyan Renewables (Singapore). They help companies install and operate offshore wind farms using their portfolio of specialized vessels, which they lease to firms.
Astrid Renew (Singapore). They provide solar, wind, and energy storage solutions to multinational companies transitioning from conventional energy to green renewables.
