No need to rush. Singapore-based ride-sharing platform RushOwl, which offers shuttle services for schools, corporates, and organizations, just raised $10M in Series A!

Investor check. Gobi Partners led the round.

  • The Hong Kong Investment Corporation Limited joined as an investment partner of Gobi.

📳 The ABCs of RushOwl

Founded in 2018, RushOwl optimizes your daily commute struggles through their proprietary technology, RushOS.

RushOS uses an AI-based dynamic routing algorithm that pools trip requests together for shared, carbon-efficient journeys.

  • Their algorithm integrates with autonomous vehicles, optimizing fleet utilization.
  • RushTrail, the platform’s mobile app, currently supports 250K users, who are mostly staff and students.

🚖 The footprint

RushOwl now provides on-demand shuttle services in Singapore, India, and Hong Kong.

  • They have powered over 1.5M rides and manage over 4K trips daily.
  • Oh, and they claim that their solution cuts carbon emissions by 50% and commute times by 30%

📷 Big picture

RushOwl will use the $$$ to expand into more markets, including the Philippines, South Korea, and Malaysia, where they’ll open a research and development center.

  • Besides this, they’ll also grow their B2B sales team and secure deals with fleet partners and licensing RushOS to them.
