Here’s Transcelestial! This Singapore-headquartered startup deploys reliable high-speed connectivity faster and cheaper. And they just raised fresh $$$.

  • This brings their total investment to date to $30.7M! They last raised $10M in a Series A extension.

Investor check. NTT Finance and Paspalis Capital co-led the round. Golden Egg Ventures, In-Q-Tel, David G. Wilson, Beyond Earth Technologies, and Non Public also joined in!

⚡ Light it up

You’ve heard of fiber internet, now get ready for laser!

Transcelestial delivers secure last-mile connectivity with fiber-like speeds through their commercially available product, CENTAURI.

But unlike fiber, CENTAURI’s deployment is faster and more cost effective. After all, there’s no need for infrastructure-intensive fiber-optic cables, which can delay time-to-market and increase costs.

  • CENTAURI’s solution can be used in a variety of industries such as ISPs, mobile operators, ports and logistics, and education.
  • It can also be used in post-disaster situations for a more efficient disaster recovery plan.

🛜 New countries, unlocked

They’ll use the $$$ to deploy their laser communications tech across critical telecom, defense, and space infrastructure in Japan and Australia.

  • Their tech in Japan. Their CENTAURI system is a resilient and rapidly deployable solution to address the unique challenges posed by frequent natural disasters in the country.
  • And in Australia? They’ll break the remote connectivity barrier with lasers, upgrade defense assets with ground-to-drone laser capabilities, and pioneer Australia’s first gateway to space communications.

⭐ To infinity and beyond

But their vision doesn’t stop there. Their primary goal is to develop a constellation of Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites to potentially connect continents globally.
