Singapore’s Whale raises $60M to cross oceans and expand

Whale, whale, whale. This Singapore-based startup builds AI-native solutions that help businesses automate operations, accelerate decision-making, and gain deeper consumer insights. 

  • They just announced the completion of their consecutive funding rounds (Series C1 and C2) and raised a total of $60M!

Investor check. Temasek Holdings and Linear Capital backed the Series C1 round. 

  • BOSCH Ventures, Singtel Innov8, MDI Ventures, MTR Lab, and Gentree Fund also joined as investors in the Series C2 round.

Whale combines AI, IoT, and big data technologies to build their enterprise-grade AI product suite. 

SpaceSight. A video analytics and audit platform for commercial spaces that allows businesses to understand customer traffic and in-store behavior. 

Echo. A voice intelligence platform that helps businesses analyze conversations with speech recognition, semantic analysis, and sentiment detection. 

Harbor. A content management cloud for sales and marketing teams to create AI-generated content and automate cross-channel delivery. 

Alivia. A suite of AI agents that help companies manage unstructured data points for audit, content review, compliance, and support applications.

Founded in 2017, Whale supports over 600 customers in over 20 countries. 

  • They serve companies in the fashion, luxury, F&B, consumer electronics, retail, healthcare, and automotive sectors.
