Electrifying! SLEEK EV is an IoT-enabled electric scooter manufacturer that operates in Thailand.

Now, they’ve just raised a $8.5M Series A.

Investor check. KYMCO Capital led the round, with earlier participation from January Capital, Krungsi Finnovate, and ORZON Ventures.

🇹🇭 It’s SLEEK

SLEEK manufactures three types of electric motorcycles designed for urban riding.

But they don’t just make vehicles; they also offer a comprehensive ecosystem solution, from manufacturing and charging infrastructure to integrated software.

  • Their tech stack includes IoT-equipped scooter hardware that syncs with a mobile app.

🏍️ What’s next?

SLEEK is preparing to accelerate their expansion across Thailand and position the country as SEA’s electric motorcycle hub.

  • The fresh capital will enable SLEEK to scale up production capacity and accelerate product research and development by delivering AI software and agents.
  • Oh, and they’ll also add more EV S-Charge stations by more than seven times.

🔗 Partnered up

They’ll also continue to create new partnerships with dealers and national regulatory bodies.

  • They’re doing this to build greater mindshare and increase product deliveries, and to set a new standard for regional charging and battery swapping for electric motorcycles.
