SWAT Mobility raises another $3.8M for B2B SaaS solutions

April 23, 2024

Frustrated with public transport? Meet SWAT Mobility! They build software solutions so that you can have happier, more affordable, and efficient rides. Now, they’ve just raised an additional $3.8M!

  • They operate in Singapore, Japan, Thailand, and the Philippines.
  • In Japan, over 50 companies and local government units use their models.

Investor check. EC & Translink Orchestrating Future Fund, NX Global Innovation Fund, and Chubu Electric Power joined in!

  • This takes the total funding raised in this round to $7.2M.

🚎 Not a ride-hailing company

They have AI-powered software solutions for clients in mobility and logistics.

  • Think transport operators and logistics companies.

Here are a few of their products:

For logistics companies. Route optimization and load optimization for logistics companies to optimize the vehicles in their fleet and the amount of items on board.

For governments and transport operators. A data analysis system to optimize cities’ transport, down to how many vehicles are needed, when they need to be running, and the routes they take. Oh, and pricing too.

For companies. Systems for company employees to book transportation on-demand, while keeping it efficient and cost-effective for companies.

🤩 What’s next?

They’ll be expanding deeper into Asia. Since Japan is their biggest market, they’ve built an engineering team in the country and expanded their sales and customer service departments.

And in other news. They were planning an IPO in 2021, but not much has been said about it since then. Oh, but their CEO says that they plan to be profitable in 1-2 years.
