Thai digital insurer Roojai raises $60M Series C

Here’s Roojai! This Thai D2C digital insurer offers online motor, health, personal accident, and travel insurance. Now, they’ve just raised a $60M Series C!

  • They last raised a $42M Series B to expand to the Philippines. 

Investor check. The investment was co-led by Apis Global Growth Fund III and the Apis Growth Markets Fund III, and Asia Partners. 

  • Existing shareholders HDI International, Primary Group, and the International Finance Corporation also joined the round.

Their other services. Roojai also offers travel insurance covering over 57 countries. Oh, and with their Roojai Care Card, their customers can easily access medical treatment across their hospital network.

🛣️ On the horizon

They’ll use the $$$ to grow their operations in Thailand and accelerate their Indonesian business. 

  • They’re also going to pool the proceeds for further strategic M&A opportunities. 
  • They acquired Singaporean insurtech firm DirectAsia in 2023.
