Meet Singapore and US-based Cloudwall Capital! This startup is here to build tools for institutional investors (aka, organizations like banks and VC firms) to manage investments in digital assets. Oh, and they just raised a $6.3M seed.

Who cashed in? The round was co-led by LocalGlobe and Illuminate Financial. IA Capital Partners, Eberg Capital, Nemo Ventures and angels across DeFi and traditional finance also joined in.

👀 The vision

Their take is that in the future, every asset will be a digital asset— a token, NFT or something else— and this will transform finance and the global economy.  

What's the issue? The traditional finance (TradFi) world has tons of risk management solutions and other tools to help manage and understand their risks and investment portfolios.

Yet, institutional investors don't, which keeps them from investing confidently in the crypto and Web3 world (and some choose not to invest at all!). Plus, TradFi solutions don't work.

• More people are looking for a solution, especially with the market volatility and increased investments in the space.

💥 New product incoming

Founded last year, Cloudwall's building a product called Serenity to give institutional investors risk management insights and data for them to understand what's going on and make better investments.

Data's in the details. Get to pool your portfolio and access historical data from multiple sources, like centralized exchanges and blockchain data.

Simulations and stress tests. Use statistical models and machine learning algorithms to run simulations and stress tests on their portfolio to see how they behave.
