UOB goes green: meet their 12 greentech startups

Goin' green. United Overseas Bank (aka, UOB)'s innovation arm FinLab just announced the 12 startups part of the first batch of their GreenTech Accelerator.

  • They're all pre-seed and seed and come from Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and India.

The Greentech Accelerator's here to invest around $105,000 in startups that build solutions that help the environment.

  • The startups join a 3-month program with mentorship from industry experts and access to UOB's staff network and bank partners.

Now, it's time to meet the SEA startups part of the batch!

🇮🇩 Indonesia

Jejak.in. They let you (and companies) fight climate change by tracking your carbon footprint, accessing a carbon offset marketplace and more!

🇸🇬 Singapore

Resync. Track and manage your company's energy use!

  • Save on your monthly energy bills, reduce your carbon footprint and be more sustainable.

Krosslinker. They've created an energy-efficient gel called aerogel that's non-toxic and not harmful to the environment!

  • Their aerogel is high-performance, energy-conserving, affordable, and accessible for different use cases like cold chain and insulation.

CO2 Connect. A one-stop platform to help companies of all sizes become more sustainable.

  • Automate tracking your carbon footprint, get green financing and more.

T-Recs.ai. An all-in-one solution to manage Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs).

Alterpacks. They upcycle food waste into products — starting with an alternative to the takeout boxes we throw away!

  • Their takeaway box is made of food loss in manufacturing and is biodegradable and compostable, which promotes zero waste.

Red Dot Analytics. They use AI and digital twin to digitize, optimize and automate physical operations and systems for businesses — starting with data centers.

Tava. They create sustainable packaging like bags, trash bags, straws, cold cups and mailers from plant-based materials like cornstarch.
