Here’s Validus! They’re a digital supply chain financing platform that  supports SMEs through their alternative lending ecosystem.

Now, they’ve just raised a $30M Series D!

Investor check. Khazanah Nasional, Malaysia’s sovereign wealth fund, led the round.

Validus offers MSMes across Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam the working capital they need to unlock their full potential. 

  • They partner with large corporations to leverage vast sets of alternative supply chain data through AI techniques in their platform, enabling them to offer tailored supply chain financing solutions.

Their footprint. They’ve disbursed over $5B in loans to MSMEs to date. 

🔗 What’s next?

They’ll use the funds to fuel their strategic growth in Indonesia and Thailand. 

  • They’ll scale up their business operations where they’re projected to double their loan books over the next three years.
  • Earlier this year, they sold their Singapore business to Grab’s digital bank, GXS.
