Vietnamese insurtech Saladin raises Series A

Here’s Saladin. They’re a Singapore and Vietnam-based digital-first insurance brokerage platform that offers tailored and embedded B2B2C solutions.

  • Now, they have just raised their Series A! They’re keeping the amount raised undisclosed though.
  • They previously raised $$$ in 2023.

Investor check. SBI Ven Capital led the round through its joint fund with Kyobo Securities from South Korea and NTUitive from Singapore. 

  • Monk’s Hill Ventures, Peak XV Partners, ICMG and other new and existing investors also joined in. 

🤱🏽 Mixing it

Saladin makes it easier for you to purchase and claim insurance online. 

  • They offer travel, health, vehicle, and maternity insurance!

Their footprint. They have partnered with 15 leading insurers in Vietnam and have served nearly a million unique customers through their platform. 

🏋️ What’s next? 

Saladin plans to introduce life insurance offerings, such as term life and comprehensive health protection.

  • They’ll also strengthen their customer journey to ensure a seamless and reliable customer experience. 
  • They’ve been leveraging the latest AI tech to improve productivity, personalization, and trust.
